The charger is equipped with thermal and over-voltage protection circuitry that prevents damage to battery packs and provides safe dependable charging. The charging times, when from a fully depleted condition, for a Standard Battery Pack (B500S) is approximately 1 hour; for an Endurance Battery Pack (B400E) is approximately 2 hours. Recharge at any time, battery pack charge maintenance is not necessary to maintain consistent capacity.
